Unlike most of the Classic community, I actually like retail WoW. It’s a different play style, and while I much more prefer Classic, that doesn’t mean I hate BFA, I actually LOVE Boralus (the new Alliance hub in Kul’Tiras) and love the Kul’Tiran humans. I thought pet battles were stupid, but I got to playing and I was really enjoying it – I loved finding out where certain types of pets are located in the world, going out and attempting to capture them. It’s like pokemon go without having to leave your house XD
With all of that said, if they did away with faction conflict the way that WoW Podcast was suggesting, I would never go back to playing retail. Faction conflict is the NUMBER 1 reason I started playing World of Warcraft. Without it, it may as well be Final Fantasy XIV.
